Kolkata: The JAM 2025 admit card is expected to be available for download in the first week of January 2025 at jam2025.iitd.ac.in. Aspirants can access their hall tickets by logging into the JOAPS portal with their registered accounts. IIT Delhi will organize the IIT JAM 2025 exam on February 2, 2025, at approximately 115 exam centres nationwide.

The application window for JAM 2025 closed on October 18, and the correction window for updates to exam cities, test papers, categories, and gender ended on November 18. The JAM 2025 exam will be held in two shifts. The morning shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics, while the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for Biotechnology, Physics, Economics, and Mathematical Statistics. The exam will include seven subjects: Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The JAM 2025 exam will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Candidates have to appear for the exam on February 2, 2025, once the admit card is released. The IIT JAM 2025 exam will be held online in English. Candidates will have 3 hours to complete the exam, which will consist of questions from a total of 7 subjects. The exam will include multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-select (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. In total, 60 questions will be asked. The marking scheme varies by section: MCQs will have 1 mark per question, MSQs will offer 2 marks per question, and NAT questions will be worth either 1 or 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for MSQs for NAT questions, but 1/3 mark will be deducted for incorrect MCQs with 1 mark and 2/3 mark will be deducted for incorrect 2-mark MCQs. The result will be published on March 19, 2025. Candidates can access their score cards on March 25, 2025 and download it. The admission process will start from April 2, 2025.
